That shrine belongs to the God of the Mountains. In exchange for saving Miko 3 times, they will take her soul. That's why the God and the twins are not happy with the offering, and Miko managed to ran away before they could kill her. The anime version shows it's just a dream.

The anime ended definitely, and I for one enjoyed all the episodes. I'm hoping for second season! 🤞

That ending though was unexpected and cool.
I liked this anime the story was interesting, and I still have loads of unanswered questions so hopefully there's going to be another season.

I am very satisfied with this anime. One thing I never mentioned was that I love that Miko has golden eyes, since Kurumi has a golden clock in her left eye 3:)

Idk if this really had that much of a storyline, but the "story" that did exist is quite fun. I hope for a season 2, onigai!!
